QV Stays Cosy One Bedroom Viaduct Haven

Positive: Cleanliness Negative: Location being like a jig-saw puzzle and the toilet is so small. Can fit only kids I think. We are both small adults and still struggled with that toilet space, not comfortable to do your business in. The booking process was so stressful with endless emails, and even calls after I told them I was arriving into NZ on the day and will be busy. 1, 2 emails is enough but more than that is just too much and stressful. We are adults and we know what to do, don't need 100 reminders emails and booking notifications to be informed. Just 1 email will do.

Halsey St 1 bedroom apartment Positive: Great location, amazingly quiet inside. Car parking was easy and close enough. Perfect space for a two week reset. Impressed by the pool, spa, sauna and gym spaces. Not just a token effort. Whole site very well maintained. Negative: Dining chairs weren't very comfy for any duration. Two flights of stairs and four locked doors from the car park made moving in an effort.

A fantastic stay over New Year, great location and amenities. A place that we would return to. Positive: Excellent location, located in the Wynyard Quarter, near restaurants, bars, cafes, and across the road from a Woolies Metro. The apartment is easy to find, with good directions given. The apartment itself is well appointed. The bathroom is a bit cramped, although the shower itself is great, with powerful and quick hot water delivery. The agents were quick to get back with answers to any questions. Given the time of year, and a last minute booking it was also very good value for money. Negative: The car space for this particular apartment is quite small, and suitable for a small to mid size car only - we had a Corolla and it was okay for that. There is no lift - there are two levels of steps from the the car park, and 1 1/2 from the street. It was fine for us, but those with mobility issues could find it difficult. It is apparently noted on the website however.
