QV Stays Downtown Style and Charm

Great spot for a city break in Auckland Positive: Great location, comfortable and good amenities, kitchen, heated pool Negative: Curtains to block out light from living room (2 people were sleeping in this) 1 key card per adult - you can’t move around the hotel independently without one person having to come down to reception to let them in.

Positive: The apartment was large, comfortable, and quiet. The wardrobe had several hangers, and I love being able to hang my shirts. The company staff were attentive. Negative: I had a bad first impression because I had difficulty understanding that the keys had to be picked up 2 blocks from the accommodation. After that, everything was great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Positive: Spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our overnight stay in Adelaide - the windows actually opened which was fantastic :) Negative: It was odd not to have bedside tables! And my bed had a weird slope to it which was ok because it was just me and I could I sleep diagonally across! And while not a big deal the tv was tiny for the size of the living room ;)

There were 4 in the bed... Positive: There was much confusion as we booked a room with three beds for 4 adults, two were sofa beds. The hosts assumed the 4 of us would be sharing the queen bed so the additional beds weren't made up. This was eventually resolved at about 9pm after being assured all was sorted much earlier in the afternoon. When booking, make sure your specify even obvious requirements then follow up with a phone call rather than communicating on here. Negative: The notion that 4 adults would be sharing a bed.

Positive: Great location and facilities. The carpark is great added value too. Negative: The shower was a bit dirty and the floorboards sqeak.
