QV Stays Downtown Style and Charm

Wonderful Positive: The property was great. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family. It was easy to check in and park our car. The unit was clean and spacious. TV and appliances were easy to use. The beds are comfortable too. It was great to have a kitchen to use and pool facilities. The staff were responsive and easy to deal with. Negative: Our only minor feedback is that the kitchen needs a larger saucepan (that could be used to cook pasta for example) and a colander. A proper grater would be useful also.

Wonderful Apartment. Positive: 400 m from convention centre. Fabulous apartment. Enormous bedroom. Negative: Old wooden floors in the corridor were a bit noisy in the mornings as people were leaving. (Can't do anything about that as this is a heritage building)

Positive: We love this apartment's personality, set in a building with an interesting history. Well set up for our party of 3 and comfortably furnished. The laundry powder in the cleaning cupboard was thoughtful. Negative: Rooms were fairly clean, we needed to swap linen on one bed which was easily done. None of the dishes were clean, I suspect due to the lack of dishwasher tablets/powder/liquid in the unit. Tray in oven also had leftovers on and needed cleaning. Had to pre wash everything before use. No dish cloth provided. Murphy beds are represented as doubles, online and in photos. They are singles. No mattress protectors.

Excellent location and amenities but the apartment was noisy Positive: Excellent location especially getting on and off the motorway, short walk to shops/eateries. Appreciate the car park. Pool & spa on the top deck were awesome. Spacious beds. In previous reviews people complained about no proper curtain but there was a roller black out curtain there. Plus people previously complained about only having 1 key but we got 2. Negative: Don’t expect a good sleep. The creaky floor boards from inside and outside the apartment kept waking us. It was so loud that it sounded like people were walking around in our apartment when in fact it was the neighbours or out in the lobby. There was a massive gap at the bottom of the main door so we heard everyone coming & going. We would definitely stay again if they got carpet and closed the gap in the door.
