AWSA On the Water Luxury (4021)

Exceptional, we will be back. Positive: Superb location, clean and spacious for the family, very central to everything we needed, no car required, wonderful watching the goings on in the harbour and being able to walk to the centre of the city with grocery stores close too. Negative: Nothing.

Great location, service and facilities but do not stay here if you require internet Positive: The location, service and facilities were first class Negative: The internet service was beyond appalling. While it was possible to connect to the internet the service was slower than '70s internet and kept dropping out. So slow it was impossible to use the web to confirm flights, get the weather forecast or download directions for places in Auckland, let alone check emails. Part of the reason we chose the apartment was for decent internet; I had work to do and had to buy a SIM card and hotspot internet off that. As did our fellow guests. An apartment of this quality should have functioning internet. I called the office once we got fed up with the service and their only suggestion was rebooting the modem which had no effect on the poor service. Do not stay in this apartment if you require internet.

Good Accomadation however not suitable for young families Positive: Convenience to the city. Negative: What we received was not what was advertised on Booking.com. Wasn’t suitable for young children. Quinovic owner however was sympathetic and understood our concerns and came up with a reasonable and suitable compensation.

Awesome spot with a fantastic view and so very close to all the action..!! Positive: Fab views, great location Negative: Nothing
