QV Stays Modern Waterfront Stunner

Communication by hosts was excellent, Accommodation was excellent, location was excellent. Negative: I paid $165 for a driver that was organised by the accommodation. He was meant to meet us on arrival with a sign. On arrival, he was nowhere to be found, so we walked down a bit further (15 metres outside the info centre) looking for him. No sign of him. I had to put my suit jacket, which was in a suit bag, down to get my phone out to ring him. The only convenient place to put my jacket was to lay it over the top of the bins outside the side info centre. I phoned him and he answered. He was now where he was supposed to be so while i was on the phone with one hand, my other hand had my suitcase in it so i walked back to the meeting place to connect while still talking. Didn't realise id left my jacket where it lay until we got to the accommodation. I then had to pay him a further $150 to get him to drive me back to airport to retrieve my jacket them back to accommodation. Not putting the whole blame on driver but had he been where he was supposed to this would never have happened. I would have seen his sign , said Hi, and went to his car with him. Additionally, the booking was for 2 ppl with one small case each. He turned up in a Bus style van that sits 10 PPL. Not quite the ride we expected when I paid more than double what a COMFORT UBER would charge. He tried to tell me that he was there the whole time but finally admitted he went to the rest room. He should have sorted the comfort

Loved this place. Location and views were amazing. Positive: The covered balcony and its view where amazing. As soon as you walked through the door, WOW. Negative: You had to walk through the bedrooms to get to the toilets. When you partner is sleeping, this is not so nice. A shame it didn't have a stand alone toilet in the living area.

Positive: The location is amazing. Everything is on your doorstep but just far away enough that you are not kept awake by the nightlife. I'm not sure why they don't advertise the large indoor pool, gym and spa, and only list a sauna. We've stayed here previously so knew it was available, and one of the reasons we booked the property again. Negative: We unfortunately hit right when they had carpet cleaned the shared spaces and so the hallway had an over powering smell of wet wool. But would prefer that over unkept facilities. Lounger on the patio could do with a clean, otherwise everything else was great standards.

I’d definitely be staying here again. A great space & well maintained. The staff of QV are very lovely and comms wer Positive: Location & staff to set us up were brilliant. The property was in very good condition. Negative: It would be easier if there was a lockbox nearer to the apartment to check in. There is a very odd smell in the hallway of the apartment that made its way into the main apartment too. This needs to be fixed.
