QV Stays Waterfront Suite with Views to Amaze

The views from the apartment are lovely and the location meant there was no disruption from noise. Positive: The instructions as to where to collect the keys were detailed and easy to follow. We didn't use the car park so cannot comment about this. Having a full kitchen was a bonus. There is a grocery store within walking distance. The apartment is also close to the harbour restaurants and bars (but there was no noise from the ones on the ground floor of the block). Negative: Having to complete the information needed to gain access to the portal used by the host company was a bit of a faff but once done all the details within the portal were easily accessible and informative.

Even though there are negatives, the positives far out way them, and we would stay again. Would be great if the owner ma Positive: Great location and views 🤩 Spacious, large, light and bright living space and kitchen. Ice in the freezer a bonus! Loved having a car space included in the heart of the city. Great communication on how to access the property, key lock block and the car park. Two sets of keys and one for the garage. Very well equipped kitchen with plenary of glasses, plates etc. Big lounge was super comfy and large smart TV. Well equipped laundry and everything was super clean. Negative: Bathroom has no lock and has bad lighting. The bed was not very comfortable with a bit of a dip in the middle and a lot of movement when your partner moved. No scourer or dish washing liquid bottle which made it hard to clean up properly. Only a couple of sachets which didn’t go far. The non stick fry pan needs to be replaced, we couldn’t use it. The awnings on the deck are frozen closed so no shade available from the blazing afternoon sun. Bed side lights not working and judging by previous comments, haven’t worked since 2023…

Satisfactory Positive: Fantastic location and views.Satsifactory Negative: Furniture missing from what was in the advertisement, iron burn mark on the carpet , missing mirror mosaics in the entrance, dim lighting in the bedrooms and bathroom. Contradictory communications from the hosting agents.

Positive: The apartment is huge. The location is great. Negative: The only air conditioning unit is in the very front of the living room. Nothing in the bedrooms. Plan to sleep with the doors or windows open, but there are no screens and only heavy blackout shades. So you'll have the drapes open and you face the Hilton, so privacy is an issue. Also, there's not a second set of keys, so plan to meet anyone that wants to do something different in the lobby to get them back upstairs. We asked for a second set but they're "lost."
