Exactly what I needed

Stunning view from spacious apartment Positive: The view from the balcony was stunning. The bed was very comfortable. Very spacious apartment with everything you need and tastefully furnished. The hosts were very attentive and we felt very looked after. The car park made our stay so much easier. The ferries do go early but the sound proofing is really good.

Mixed Feelings – Great Location, But Dated and Smells Like Smoke Positive: Mixed Feelings – Great Location, But Dated and Smells Like Smoke You’re definitely paying for the location with this apartment – it’s very conveniently situated near the Viaduct restaurant precinct, and the view out to the water is a nice bonus (though it can be quite noisy with constant water traffic). The apartment itself is clean but extremely dated. The carpets are tidy but worn, and the bathroom grout could really use a deep clean. The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, which was quite unpleasant – it’s clear that previous guests have been smokers despite any non-smoking policies. The bedding was another downside – the pillows were thin and uncomfortable, and the overall sleeping setup felt tired. Random hooks and small holes in the walls gave the bedroom a run-down feel. There’s no reception on site, so you need to collect keys from the QV office before arrival, which isn’t a huge hassle but worth knowing. Also, small amenities were missing – no bottled water provided, and no washing powder if you wanted to use the washer/dryer. Overall, it’s a functional place to stay if you prioritize location, but there are several areas that could use improvement for better comfort and guest experience. Perfect location, sunny and enjoyable Harbour scenes. Positive: The window looking out into the harbor, and watching the boats. The whole place plus kitchen is functional and clean. It was great. Negative: It was exactly as the photos described.
