A nice base for a stay in Auckland Positive: The apartment was neat and tidy and in a great location, very accessible to public transportation and restaurants. Having a NutriBullit for making smoothies in the morning is a great touch and having a Woolworths supermarket across the street is very handy. Negative: The wifi was surprisingly limited for such a small apartment. It worked fine in the lounge room but poorly in the bedroom which is only about six metres from the router. In comparison, my router at home covers the entire three bedroom, two level house inside and out. Air circulation in the apartment is not great resulting in a very cold lounge room and a hot bedroom when using the AC. An oscillating floor fan from Bunnings would sort that out. The instructions to navigate to the rear of the property then locating the right building are complicated and confusing. Pro tip: use the front entrance at 77 Halsey St, right across from the Bruce Lee Sushi restaurant. The entry fob will open the door into the foyer then walk straight in to the elevator. Easy.
