High-Level Historic 1 Bed with Stunning Views

Metropolis is the best place for a short (or longer!) stay in the CBD. Positive: The gym and pool complex is a standout - great way to unwind after work. Negative: Check in was easy but inconvenient. The key locker is not a “5-minute” walk away as advised; I’m pretty fit and timed it at 13 minutes with minimal luggage, and that was at midnight taking some liberties crossing the big streets that are very busy during the day.

Positive: Great location, bunch of food + dessert places nearby and convenience stores + woolies nearby. Comes with a lot of kitchen utensils, plates, bowls and tools. Cups, glasses, knife, pots & pans, cutting board, spatula, potato masher, grater... Nice view Negative: Lockbox for key is about 10 minutes walk from the actual place. A few faulty lights, ran out of toilet paper near the end of our stay. Quick replies from messaging on booking.com, but not very helpful - better to ask hotel reception about issues regarding the premises. Aircon malfunctioned at the end of our stay. Not clear on after-hours entry... The residence entry is locked after 11pm and you have to enter through the front hotel entrance instead on Kitchener street. I was not told of this and I thought I was locked out.

Great location with amazing views and close to all amenities Positive: Location, view and apartment was awesome. Home away from home. Negative: Could have been a little cleaner as under some lights you can see wipe marks all over the walls as if wiped down with dirty cloths but outside of that the apartment was great.

Convenient location, excellent value. Positive: The location was excellent . The place was well equipped with everything we needed. Washing machine and dryer were very efficient. Loved using the swimming pool, spa bath and sauna. Key pick up was very quick and easy. We got an Uber from the airport and asked for two stops. So simple. (Only cost 12 cents more!!) I would definitely recommend staying here. Excellent value for money too. Negative: .
