Lighter Quay Stratis

Lighter Quay is a quiet complex on the eastern side of the Viaduct Harbour within walking distance to the cafes and restaurants but far enough way to be peaceful. The modern glass and concrete design allows the light to fill every apartment, a private waterway/marina in the centre is a pleasant surprise.  Fantastic facilities that include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and fully equipped gymnasium.  Stroll around the Viaduct Basin or over the Te Wero Pedestrian Bridge for a drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants in the area or up to the new vibrant Wynyard Quarter & North Wharf areas.  The Stratis Block is one of four blocks in the complex, it is on the eastern side with views across the Viaduct Marina and the internal waterway.

Located on the first floor this 101 sqm apartment has been newly refurbished to a high standard to suit both families or three couples. Three double bedrooms with two bathrooms the apartment has a large living area plus two conservatories to catch both the morning and afternoon sun with views over the Viaduct Harbour. The apartment has two king beds which split into twins if required, plus a queen bed in the third bedroom. Extra sofa beds in western conservatory if required.  There is My SKY HDi, ipod docking stations, DVD and a generous wifi package. Secure carpark downstairs.

Minimum stay one week. Apartment serviced weekly including full linen change. No smoking in apartment or on balcony please, entire complex is smokefree. All bookings restricted to three months prior to arrival.

  • Thank you, what a lovely place to stay, so close to downtown Auckland. The apartment was fantastic everything you need, and so safe, plus the lap pool, spa and sauna a bonus. The view from the apartment was very nice, water, yachts lots of activity to sit and watch the world go by. With the North Wharf restaurant area being so close the choice of meals is almost endless. Car park easy to access and again very secure/ private. Although there isn't any A/C, most of the time there was a breeze flowing though the apartment. Getting keys and information about the place Paddy made it so easy, nothing appeared to be any trouble at all. My family (Wife , son, mother-in-law) had a wonderful time, being Kiwi's from Auckland, and not being back for a long long time, this was the perfect home base.

  • The Waterfront Viaduct is a beautiful base from which to explore Auckland. The flat is spacious, comfortable and well appointed; Paddy was efficient and welcoming, the whole excellent value. Recommended.

  • My bestman, groomsmen and I enjoyed our stay at the apartment for my wedding. It was great for 7 people. Beds were very comfortable, spacious and very clean. The location was perfect, extremely safe, walking distance to waterfront. Beautiful view of skytower. Love swimming pool and it was my favourite! Highly recommend. Would love to stay this place again!

  • There can be NO better view of the Skytower in Auckland and on New Year's Eve it was spectacular. We could walk in and out of the City, to the ferries, and dine on the Viaduct. It easily accommodated the 8 of us, and the on deck dining room with fireplace was a special treat
